Job Description
We are involved in the delivery of civil engineering services from feasibility through construction stage across a wide range of electricity infrastructure projects, supporting ESB's strategic objectives of decarbonising electricity, building resilient infrastructure, and empowering clients.
Main Responsibilities
* Demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of your role.
* Provide civil, drainage, and water engineering technical services and design capability from concept to detailed design to procurement and delivery of engineering works.
* Manage and co-ordinate all relevant civil, drainage, and water engineering activities required to successfully deliver projects to approved scope, budget, and programme.
* Carry out site inspections, arrange surveys, analyse information gathered, and produce effective drainage designs.
* Coordinate with other disciplines, working in a proactive way to deliver high-quality projects to the client's satisfaction.
* Ensure all planning permission and licensing conditions are complied with and liaison with relevant statutory authorities and stakeholders.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' relevant experience.
* Developed technical capability in civil, drainage, and water engineering design and competence to deliver civil, drainage, and water engineering packages.
* Experience in using specialist software in hydrological, hydraulic, or drainage modelling.
* Demonstrated strong capability in assessing, communicating, and managing project critical technical risks.
* Demonstrated record of successfully managing significant projects or aspects of significant projects.
* Strong commercial and project management capability.
