Contract Support Technician Contract Duration/Type: Permanent Location: Mayo Overview of the role: The Role of the Contract Support Technician is to provide support for; Sub-Contract Services, On-Site Veolia Team operations and individually delivered services included in the contract scope and as determined by the Veolia Contract Manager. Duties of the Role include: Scheduling, Supporting & Supervising relevant Sub-Contractors planned services. Safe and efficient operation of the Utility Plant and communication of same to the Shift Lead. Due to the nature of the role & the process operations schedule, this is a flexible role which will require some weekend & overtime works. Responsible to ensure the completion of routine PPM schedules as assigned by the Site Manager Take ownership of planned works relating to their specific expertise and in other areas where acquired and agreed. Supply details of spares & materials requirements for utility equipment. Submission of Continuous Improvements through the Good Idea Process. Support the morning operations meeting with relevant communications. Fire Detection/Protection Services Gas Detection Calibrations Security Access Service Vibration Analysis Vapour Extrication Readings (LEV's) Loading Bays & Door Service Internal Calibrations Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Service Compressed Air Sampling Analysis HVAC Services & Cleaning & Fire Dampers Inspections Comms Rooms Integrity Testing Support R&A targets to ensure compliance with the site Health, Safety and Environmental management systems and practices. Ensure excellent housekeeping and adherence to the client site and Veolia safety procedures and policies. Maintain a safety centered work culture. Report potentially unsafe operations or situations. Review Risk Assessments as required considering changes in operation, environment and legislation. Required skills for this role: Electrical/Mechanical/Calibration/Instrumentation Trade qualification Stay current in the operating conditions of the Plant: Interpret SOP's. Be aware and review plant maintenance procedures. Ability to work in a team atmosphere. Flexibility to support service/maintenance activities. Self-motivated with ability to co-ordinate resources. Good Technical aptitude Exceptional problem-solving skills coupled with proven analytical abilities enabling you to consider the details and complexities of issues, while driving for results.
