What you'll be doing...You'll be leading the sourcing process for Device Promotions.
You will establish and execute sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, negotiation, risk management and supply base performance management.

The role involves:
Collaborating closely with key business partners to understand their priorities and challenges; assess their needs on an ongoing basis; and manage their expectations.
Partnering with our business stakeholders to develop and implement category & sourcing strategies.
Driving all aspects of complex strategic sourcing process.
Responsible for negotiation planning, building RFx's, and contracting with suppliers, ensuring that agreements reflect Verizon's needs globally.
Developing category savings roadmap and maintain and track savings.
Responsible for executing supplier relationship management activities, effectively maintaining positive and ethical working relationships.
Leveraging market dynamics and mitigating risk.
Balancing short- and long-term objectives to meet business strategy and efficiencies in alignment with business stakeholders.
Supplier rationalization – leveraging existing supplier base to appropriately consolidate products & services.
Strong leadership abilities with a proven ability to engage and influence collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will also be expected to take on additional projects as needed to support business requirements.
What we're looking for...You understand the consumer devices market and its market trends globally.
Because you are a master relationship builder, external suppliers see you as an invaluable partner and internal clients see you as a trusted advisor.
You have no problem prioritizing multiple simultaneous projects and you're no stranger to tight timelines.
Balancing the intersection of cost, efficiency, and quality, you expertly negotiate the best outcomes for all parties.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or related experience.
Experience in strategic sourcing experience in managing device promotions is an advantage, knowledge of strategic sourcing processes, policies, and procedures.
Experience in driving change and transformation.
Experience in negotiations and experience with cost management practices.
Experience in fast-paced matrixed global environment.
Strong presentation skills with experience in preparing and presenting across multiple organizational leadership levels.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
MBA or Business degree in supply chain, business, or marketing.
Experience within a carrier or consumer devices OEM role.
Self-motivated /self-starter with experience in working independently.
Strong analytical and/or technical experience with strong attention to detail.
