Maintenance Safety Lead
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Safety Lead to join our team in Cruiserath, Dublin. This is a 12-month contract opportunity that offers the chance to work on a large-scale €1 billion project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory safety requirements within the team.
* Coordinate safety-related activities and promote continuous improvement in Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) compliance.
* Facilitate local compliance with incident/accident management systems.
* Support and execute safety investigations and complete subsequent Corrective Action Preventative Actions (CAPA).
* Evaluate and promote a safety culture, embedding an intrinsically psychologically safe working environment.
* Attend weekly Safety Action Teams (SAT) forums to provide support and focus on necessary safety themes/topics.
* Oversight of area risk assessment programs, ensuring non-routine tasks are identified and risk assessments are completed consistently.
* Facilitate RAMS reviews and approvals with EHSS as the focal point within the group.
Qualifications:
* Hold a relevant Engineering-related qualification (Level 7/Level 8 BTech/BEng).
* Experience as an Engineering professional working with process equipment in biologics, pharma, chemical, or food manufacturing facilities.
* Previous hands-on experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) practices desirable.
* Good working knowledge of Engineering/Safety legislation.
* Experience with risk assessment, auditing, and incident investigation processes.
* Prioritise safety, quality, and reliability in every task.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
* Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
