This Role: Calibration Technician
You will perform calibration functions on manufacturing, testing, and measuring equipment. Your work impacts the accuracy of our measurement and process equipment and subsequent product quality. It is essential to meet quality systems requirements and other compliance requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Calibration Services: Perform calibration and adjustment procedures on various measurement instruments used to measure pressure, temperature, humidity, flow, mass, and other devices.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of calibration activities, including calibration certificates, calibration procedures, test results, and equipment history.
* Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with measurement equipment, both mechanical and electronic, and implement corrective actions to ensure proper functionality.
* Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to ensure that calibrated instruments meet established specifications and standards.
* Testing and Validation: Perform testing and validation of new equipment and instruments to ensure they meet required standards before being put into service.
* Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to address calibration-related issues and provide technical support.
* Training: Provide training to users on proper handling and care of calibrated equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
* A relevant third-level qualification in Engineering/Science.
* Minimum 2 years experience in a calibration role in the medical/pharmaceutical industry.
