Our client is a highly respected brokerage with multiple locations around Ireland. They are now on the lookout for a new member of their captive insurance team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of captive insurance services, acting as the primary contact for designated client companies regarding insurance and claims-related matters. Analyse premium and claims data, update tracking systems, reconcile bordereaux to payments, and develop claims reports for Board presentations or other stakeholders. Issue insurance certificates and endorsements as required. Provide underwriting data to support the preparation of management accounts and financial statements. Ensure compliance with EU regulatory requirements, including Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) obligations. Participate in and present at client meetings. Collaborate with parent companies, regulators, insurers, brokers, reinsurers, auditors, directors, legal advisors, and actuaries to fulfil responsibilities. Maintain adherence to internal control frameworks and compliance standards. Desired Skills & Experience: CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) qualification. Basic knowledge of Central Bank of Ireland regulations for insurance and reinsurance captives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for data management and reporting. Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information clearly.
