role is pivotal in putting customer and market insights at the heart of strategic
and more near term commercial decision making at Three. The role spans insights
and critical evaluation across all brands and products at Three Ireland including 48,
consumer, business, broadband and new core, all channels, and teams (Marketing,
Propositions, Consumer, CX, B2B). This role
manages a team of three Customer/Market Insights
and Econometrics Specialists with an annual budget of c€750k.What else it
involvesLeading continuous and ad-hoc market research programmes from problem definition to final insights. Ensuring Customer Insights are at the heart of all Commercial Decision making at Three, participating in Brand, Channel and Commercial strategy conversations, as an expert Insights partner.You will be open to new research and analytical techniques, and Insights, constantly looking to raise the insights bar at Three.You will be an expert in Brand and Advertising Tracking, partnering with Advertising and Media partners to deliver insights and reporting of the performance of our Marketing campaigns on Three and 48 Brand Health and Image.Leading the Three Ireland Econometrics programme to measure the impact of Media, Price and Promotions on Three and 48 portfolio sales.You will manage our expert econometric agency partners to ensure quality of insights delivered and actionable results and learnings to support media optimisation in the future.Leading Market Insights though the Market Monitor Continuous Tracker for Mobile and Broadband for customer behaviour and attitudes.Leading the Commercial Insights, evaluation and reporting to Commercial Leadership Team ofComReg data including any market forecasting for strategic planning.Identification of new market insights in Ireland such as POS Panels, scoping, building and delivering to the business.Leading Insights (market, and Three) for the Quarterly Business Reviews and Leading the Quarterly Insights presentations for future Commercial Planning.Leading agency relationships with our suppliers maintaining the highest standards in market research and Econometrics from them continuously.The skills we're looking for10+ years experience in Market Research, Econometrics and Strategic InsightsExperience in a similar role (in the Telecoms Industry would be beneficial).Strong stakeholder management skills up to board levelAbility to present insights in clear and simple stories to Board level, making sure the ‘so-what’s’ are always presentStrong skills in all qualitative and quantitative research techniques, sampling theory, methodologies and questionnaire design.Strong skills in Econometric Modelling and advanced analyticsStakeholder management skills including ability to influenceExceptionally strong analytical skills, ability to tell a story with and draw conclusions from various data sources.Strong planning, organisation and communication skillsA self-starter with rigorous attention to detail and willingness to take initiativeNatural curiosity and passionate about understanding the market, consumer behaviour and our customers.A strategic thinkerVery strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with people of all levels both internally and externally as well as the ability to work cross functionally.Ability to explain and interpret information and critical evaluation with reference to impact on business both in the short and long term.Experience working in an agile working environment would be beneficialBenefits of Working at ThreeFlexible working with our new Hybrid model, our employees will enjoy more flexibility working from home and our office locations (office based 3 days per week) please see the Job Description for the specific office location of this roleCompetitive salary, annual performance bonus & pension contribution25 days holidays plus 2.5 company daysAnnual Leave buy or sell (buy or sell up to 5 days AL each year)Healthcare Insurance through our flexible benefits programmeLife assurance, phone & laptop, subsidized canteenAccess to learning & development toolsFree on-site parkingThere’s a lot more to us than meets the eye.You may think you know us, but we’re full of surprises.
