Equipment Resale Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Resale Manager to lead the promotion and sale of all used machinery and ageing stock. This role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of used equipment, from valuation and repairs to marketing and final sales, ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive the promotion and sale of used equipment and ageing inventory.
* Inspect, appraise, and maintain detailed records of all available equipment.
* Manage a comprehensive database of used equipment stock.
* Oversight of the end-to-end process for used equipment.
* Monitor market trends, pricing, and equipment values.
* Attend auctions and promotional events to represent the company.
* Purchase used equipment as required.
* Estimate residual values for new machinery sold by the company.
* Liaise with suppliers on used equipment initiatives and issues.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in Direct Sales ideally in Machinery, Agri, Construction, Leasing or related industries.
* Proven expertise in machine valuation.
* Strong Financial and Profit & Loss capabilities.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
* Excellent organizational skills.
