We have an exciting opportunity for a Workforce Management Initiative Lead to join our Winning Store Operating Model (WSOM) Program.
As Workforce Management Initiative Lead, you will work closely with stakeholders to deliver the most efficient in store operating model which enables Musgrave and our Independent Retailers to effectively and efficiently manage the level of effort required in how stores roster, communicate and plan tasks right across the store.
You will manage the future concept scoping, design, pilot, and wider rollout of a simple, digitalized, and cost-effective solution, that will deliver success for Musgrave and our Retail Partners in this area. It will focus on moving from current rostering tools to digitized and end-to-end interfacing for rostering, while ensuring simple receiver-focused communication method are in place. It will require evaluating available software solutions in this space.
You will have a desire to drive change and efficiency that will deliver bottom line profitability enhancements for Retailers. You will be excited by an opportunity to develop a new bespoke solution and is comfortable in building relationships and stakeholder management.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. Support the overall planning, design, pilot, and implementation of the future Workforce Management suite for Musgrave and our Retailers which is a key area of our Winning Store Operating Model Programme.
2. Report progress to the Sponsor and other key stakeholders in a clear form through meetings.
3. Be a key point of contact and link to all the Workforce Management Initiative stakeholders.
4. Support interaction across our Company Owned stores, Independent Retailers, and external solution providers.
5. Work closely with the Sponsor as well as cross functionally with our Sales Operations team, IT teams and other stakeholders on implementing and embedding the efficient new processes and technology
6. Measure and review impact on outcome, benefits, and efficiency.
The successful candidates will possess the following:
7. Previous experience with or knowledge of Time and Attendance, Workforce Management or Rostering Tools
8. 3-5 years direct or indirect Project Management experience
9. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
10. Strong planning and organisation Skills
11. Strategic thinking skills
12. Proven commercial acumen.
13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
14. Excellent change management skills
15. Structured and independent way of working, including strong issue identification and hypotheses generation skills to mitigate implementation risks.
16. Ambition and passion to achieve lowest cost and optimise efficiency.
17. Knowledge of the Irish retail industry a distinct advantage
18. Previous experience in HR Operations or HR Administration a distinct advantage.
This is a 12-month Full Time Contract covering maternity leave.
The location for this role is flexible across Ireland. Musgrave operate a Work Smart hybrid working model where you can alternate your time between connecting and collaborating in the office and working remotely. Occasional business travel to other locations will also be required.
