This is a full-time, permanent post - 40 hours per week with the option of on call work.
Purpose of Post To uphold our client's ethos and values by managing the daily operations of the community, ensuring a safe, high-quality, person-centered environment where individuals can achieve their goals.
Provide leadership and line management, ensuring services meet HIQA standards and are effective and sustainable, while promoting an inspiring model of social enterprise and community building.
Key Responsibilities Governance and Leadership Lead and manage the Community Ensure compliance with HSE, HIQA standards, and continuous improvement.
Operational Management Oversee service provision across the community, ensuring staff support and adherence to policies.
Manage risk, health, safety, and respond to complaints.
Staffing Ensure effective communication, appropriate staffing levels, and skills mix.
Address training needs, provide supervision, and ensure compliance with recruitment policies.
Financial Oversee budget preparation, financial controls, and prudent resource management.
Residents & Support Engage with residents to shape support around their needs and aspirations.
Partnership Working & Networking Build collaborative relationships with external partners.
Essential Criteria A minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework BA in Social Care Studies, Social Care Management or equivalent relevant qualification in Health or Social Care.
Post graduate qualification ideally in Social Care Management or Management Qualification.
