Staff Accountant
Are you a qualified accountant who is now looking for a new challenge in the multinational sector?
Our client, a major engineering/manufacturing multinational based in Co. Limerick, has engaged with us in Cpl to hire a Staff Accountant to join the accounts & finance team and help to drive ongoing business growth.
The Job:
As a key part of the accounting team, you will report directly to the FC and cover a broad range of duties including, but not limited to:
1. Preparation of monthly management accounts
2. Handling budget & forecasting processes
3. Balance sheet reconciliations
4. Statutory/compliance reporting
5. Liaising with external auditors
6. Delivering on finance projects (including capital spend projects)
7. Supporting the Financial Controller in their strategic duties
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
* 3rd level degree qualified ideally
* Fully qualified Accountant with at least 1-2+ years of industry experience
* Experience gained in the multinational manufacturing or engineering sectors would be an advantage
* Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications
* Proven ability to work on your own initiative and engage with senior management colleagues on projects
The Offer:
Salary will depend on candidate skills & experience, and there is a strong benefits package including significant pension contribution, private health cover, annual bonus, and other allowances.
This role will be fully office-based for the initial 6 months of training/onboarding but will then revert to 2 days office-based and 3 days working from home/remote.
