We are looking for an experienced Building Manager to represent one of our client’s prestigious organisations in Kilmainham, Dublin.
Job Profile
The role of a Building Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of maintenance, hygiene, health and safety, and security services at our client's premises. This role ensures the building is well maintained to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional customer experience and a safe, secure workplace. The successful candidate will be responsible for clear communication between the client and Key Guard Security Limited.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety legislation, conducting regular audits, risk assessments, and training sessions. Act swiftly to implement necessary corrective measures and maintain meticulous records.
* Oversee the deployment and management of security measures, including personnel, surveillance systems, and access control protocols, ensuring the safety of customers, employees, and assets.
* Lead and develop a dedicated team of excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement in line with Key Facilities' and the Client's standards.
* Provide training for building employees as needed.
* Evaluate employee performance and provide direction or additional training to ensure proper maintenance of the building.
* Schedule contractors and employees.
* Resolve complaints/issues that may arise.
* Assist with emergency response and evacuations.
* Inspect the building frequently for signs of damage or wear.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position.
* Extremely professional, efficient, discrete, and possess good interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrate the ability to provide top-class customer service, always going the extra mile.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* IT skills are essential.
* Hardworking, proactive individual capable of demonstrating initiative and good judgement.
* Flexible in their approach to work and demonstrate a keen willingness to assist fellow colleagues.
* Ability to build rapport with professionals and clients at all levels of the organisation.
