Conveyancing Legal Executive | Naas | 40-45K
A prominent client based in Naas are currently seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Executive to join their team & busy office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle all aspects of residential commercial property transactions including sales, purchases, transfers, and re-mortgages.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, ensuring that clients are informed of progress and advised on legal matters effectively.
* Draft, review, and advise on legal documents including contracts, title deeds, and transfer documents.
* Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures, GDPR, and other relevant legislation.
* Investigate titles, resolve any title issues, and ensure the transfer of clear title to the buyer.
* Arrange and review property searches, including local authority, environmental, and drainage searches.
* Work closely with mortgage lenders, brokers, and other parties to ensure financing is secured in a timely manner.
* Handle any disputes or complications that arise during the conveyancing process, working to find a solution that satisfies all parties involved.
* Ensure all pre-completion formalities are completed, prepare completion statements, and coordinate the exchange of contracts.
* Manage post-completion activities, including the registration of properties with the Land Registry and dealing with Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) submissions.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and stored securely.
* Work collaboratively with the conveyancing team and other departments within the firm to ensure an efficient service for clients.
Experience:
* Proven experience in managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload.
* Experience with freehold and leasehold transactions.
* Familiarity with the conveyancing process from start to finish, including new build and shared ownership properties (desirable).
Skills:
* Strong legal knowledge in conveyancing and property law.
* Excellent client care and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3+ years of conveyancing
* handling own clients / cases
