Job Summary
The Sr Program Manager, Technical on the Digital Commerce Product team contributes to T-Mobile success by delivering and implementing large or complex technical programs, processes and projects to improve profitability, reduce costs, streamline operations, or enhance service to the business or customers. This position provides senior level of support to the business group by describing the business' current state, defining the business' ideal future state, recommending initiatives to achieve this ideal future state, monitoring the progress of related initiatives and evaluating how successful these initiatives are at achieving their expected goals within the program. The Sr Program Manager, Technical collaborates and coordinates effectively with departmental and cross-functional teams (including product, engineering and network development teams) to solve problems and implement new solutions. This position manages the end to end development and implementation process of products, systems and/or services.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Develops program roadmaps, initiative project plans and schedules, and provides budget oversight for the business group on the program(s). Monitors actual program progress compared to baseline, and reports progress against KPIs.
2. Documents, obtains approvals, and tracks all changes in program and project tools/systems. Produces detailed reports and communicates program status to respective stakeholders, program sponsor and executives.
3. Hosts management and program team meetings, as required, keeping the program team informed and progressing including program reviews with stakeholders as necessary to perform ongoing assessments on the progress of program(s).
4. Facilitates the creation of the program charter (mission statement, KPIs, key partners/stakeholder teams, program roadmap/key initiatives). Ensures availability and distribution to all program team members and leadership. Adjusts program charter, as needed.
5. Develops and implements process controls ensuring department compliance with corporate and regulatory standards, including budgets, compliance, contract assistance, and day-to-day management of the department business processes and quality standards.
6. Manages contracts and vendors. Acts as a liaison between management and vendor/partners on contract development, execution and vendor management.
7. Creates and manages program teams supplying statistical and status reporting on completed programs to stakeholders (internal and external). Works with other program managers, project managers, and management to identify and address interdependencies and resource constraints with other programs or projects along with risks and issues to the program.
8. Ensures timely activity, integration and productivity of technical support and administers efficient use of resources to meet requirements with clear identification of task completion.
9. Develops program solutions to minimize the impact of risks and issues and ensure alignment to time, cost and scope.
10. Delegates program responsibilities and tasks, and interfaces, directs, motivates and manages program work and resources.
11. Questions ambiguous responsibilities and manages conflicts to an early resolution or escalation of any unresolved issues.
12. Brings changes and suggestions from each program and sub-program to help improve and develop best practices. Manages change within the programs and evaluates risks and assesses potential impacts on program delivery.
13. Lead cross-functional teams to drive the development, implementation, and optimization of web and app-based commerce platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences and achieving business objectives.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Required)
Work Experience:
4-7 years Experience in organizational programs, project management or related area. (Required)
2-5 years Experience working closely with Engineering, Design, and Product teams to drive iterative delivery of cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch. (Required)

$98,200 - $177,200
