The project:
The role is within the asset transfer team which operates within the broader connection projects team of the transmission system operator (TSO). This team is tasked with transferring ownership of contestably built high-voltage grid assets to the transmission asset owner (TAO). A crucial aspect of this role involves conducting due diligence on customer-supplied legal maps and spatial data to ensure final Tailte Éireann registration of all relevant project infrastructure post-energisation rests with the TAO.

10. You will manage design and wider consultant teams in a collaborative manner to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.

You’ll need to have:
13. Proficiency in the ESRI suite of products, particularly ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online is essential.
14. Ability to manage the efficient close out of property transactions. This includes coordinating with client's customers and internal stakeholders, such as the client's legal team and the asset management team. Your role will contribute to the smooth transfer of contestably built assets from the client's customer to the TAO. This will involve organizing regular meetings with client's customers to monitor the progress of asset transfers across various projects
15. An understanding of the requirements related to legal mapping and land registration in Tailte Éireann. The ability to examine property title documents for the purpose of determining location and property ownership.
16. The ability to conduct surveys using ArcGIS Field Maps to establish legal boundaries for transfers of title including freehold, leasehold, and associated rights (e.g., rights of way, wayleaves, and easements).
17. Knowledge of data interoperability and GIS. Responsibilities include converting customer-supplied CAD datasets to geodatabase format and verifying the data.
18. Experience in managing spatial data for complex property transactions.
19. Managing collaboration within the connection projects team using ArcGIS Online. This involves ensuring map applications are shared among project professionals to facilitate efficient access to all spatial data for a project.
20. Ability to update and maintain the property records information system for client’s connection projects team.
You'll also have:
21. Membership of SCSI/RICS or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
22. Relevant qualification within GIS.
23. Experience with GIS systems such as ArcGIS.
24. Technical proficiency with GIS and remote sensing.
25. Experience with high-voltage electricity infrastructure projects (such as substations, cabling, and overhead lines) would be beneficial.
26. CAD experience.
27. Relevant 3rd level qualification or equivalent work experience.
