Responsibilities

About the Apprenticeship
You will gain a vast range of useful experiences and skills whilst working towards the Level 4 Apprenticeship standard in Buying and Merchandising. As a working student, your focus is to complete your studies in your 20% off-the-job time by learning and developing your skills, knowledge, and behaviours to work towards successful graduation.
Your apprenticeship will be made up of classroom/virtual based training to cover knowledge, on-the-job training at your Amazon base location, online learning, as well as mentoring from our experienced team members.
This comprehensive program will equip you with the skills needed to expertly plan and optimise product assortments for retail success, including mastering sourcing and negotiation, inventory management, data analysis, and visual merchandising.
Eligibility Criteria
* Be 18 years or over before the start date.
* Have the right to live and work in Ireland (if you are on a visa, this needs to enable you to legally work and reside in Ireland for the entire duration of the programme).
* Complete an initial aptitude test.
* Must have achieved a passing grade (or O6/H7) in 5 or more subjects to include Maths and English (Ordinary Level) in the Irish Leaving Certificate or have at least 5 GCSEs C grade (grade 4) or above including Maths and English or equivalent experience.
* Must be entitled to study and work in Ireland.
