Seeking an experienced and skilled Bartender in our Pub. Responsible to provide exceptional customer service, prepare and serve beverages, manage cash transactions, and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and serve beverages: Mix and serve cocktails, beers, wines, and other drinks according to recipes and customer preferences.
2. Provide exceptional customer service: Greet customers, take orders, and handle customer complaints in a professional and friendly manner.
3. Manage cash transactions: Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments, and maintain accuracy with transactions.
4. Maintain a clean and safe working environment: Clean and sanitize equipment, glasses, and work areas; restock supplies and ingredients. The position also performs assignments outside, including moving large trash bins, sweeping the walkways, lifting and using a ladder to remove plants from gutters, etc. This is not an exhaustive list.
5. Manage inventory and orders: Monitor inventory levels, change kegs, order supplies, and manage stockroom organization.
6. Develop and promote cocktails: Create new cocktails, experiment with flavors, and promote signature drinks.
7. Collaborate with team members: Work with wait staff and management to ensure seamless service.
8. Adhere to safety and security protocols: Follow health and safety requirements and internal procedures, and report incidents or hazards.
Requirements
1. Experience: 1+ years of experience as a Barman in a fast-paced environment.
2. Certifications: TIPS, WSET, or other relevant certifications.
3. Knowledge: Familiarity with mixology, wine, beer, and spirits.
4. Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
* Basic math skills and accuracy with transactions.
* Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
