Job Summary:
This is a permanent position as an Accountant based in our office in LAOIS. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll for over 80 employees, ensuring timely submission of timesheets and maintenance of accurate employee records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage payroll processes, including collecting and reviewing timesheets, maintaining employee records, and finalizing weekly payroll runs
* Deal with employee queries and track annual leave on the system
* E nsure compliance with ROS reporting requirements and prepare ad-hoc reports as needed
* Oversee accounts payable, processing invoices accurately and allocating costs to correct projects in a timely manner
* Reconcile supplier balances and manage petty cash
* Assist the financial controller with monthly management accounts, including accrual/prepayment schedules, fixed asset schedules, lease schedules, and work-in-progress schedules
* Prepare year-end audit schedules for review
Requirements:
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
* Sage 50 Cloud accounting, Sage 50 payroll, and Business Central (Navision) experience desirable but not essential
