Sales Account Manager (Hydraulics) - Kildare Based
Our client is a well-established hydraulics company who are expanding and seeking to add a results-driven Sales Development Manager to the team. This candidate will bring their hydraulics sales experience to maximise growth within the existing client base and to generate new business across their sectors, through a hands-on approach to sales and marketing. This role will play an active part of the management team with a sales focus.
Salary: €55k - €65K, plus commission, vehicle and benefits. Kildare based
The Role:
1. Create and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share for hydraulics products and services
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with new business and with existing business
3. Identify new business opportunities with own contacts and exceed sales targets
4. Maintain a deep understanding of hydraulics
5. Work closely and report to the General Manager
6. Attend monthly management meetings – providing regular reports on sales performance, forecast and pipeline management
7. Negotiate and manage contracts
8. Attend industry trade shows and events
The Candidate:
1. A strong proven sales track record with great drive to achieve targets
2. Hydraulic industry experience essential with own list of contacts
3. Excellent leadership ability, analytical and expert negotiation skills
4. Work well within a team environment with a collaborative approach
5. Excellent time management and organisation
6. Competent in the use of computer systems Sage 50 and MS Office
