Description:
Due to continued growth in our business, we are seeking a Site Engineer to join our team on a large Marine project in Dublin City. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on high-profile infrastructure developments and gain valuable experience with a leading civil engineering contractor.
As our successful candidate you will be competent in the following areas:
Responsibilities:
* Provide and maintain setting out and dimensional control to ensure accurate construction of work.
* Regularly check the setting out points, benchmarks and calibration of instruments and measuring equipment being used.
* Carryout as-built surveys and records of completed works.
* Management of Health, Safety & Environment matters of areas of direct responsibility.
* Assisting in managing systems to record the quality of work completed, testing, workmanship, and materials.
* Provide Engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries answered.
* Complete daily diary sheets and photographic evidence as required.
* Assist in basic planning, monitoring, and programming.
* Control and minimise waste on site.
Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
* 3+ years experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of site management, safety regulations, and surveying.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices.
* Full driving license required.
