We are currently recruiting for a Staff Housing Assistant to join the Ashford Estate Team.

The duties of the Staff Housing Assistant will include:
* Assisting the Director of Housing in the day-to-day operations of the staff accommodation buildings.
* Taking an active role in the provision of all support services including cleaning, housekeeping, administration, health and safety, security, and maintenance.
* Maintaining the accommodation to a high standard on an ongoing basis.
* Assisting with periodic room inspections.
* Meeting with new arrivals when required, ensuring that the accommodation is appropriately prepared in advance.
* Assisting in the process of departures ensuring that an inspection is carried out of the accommodation on their exit.
* Circulating any communication and documentation to be issued to staff in relation to their accommodation.
* Reporting to the Director of Housing any health and safety issues identified.
* Operating and maintaining all systems in the buildings and SOPs.
* Working on own initiative and taking a pro-active approach to all aspects of the role.
* Monitoring stock levels and recording.
* Requirement to stay on-site on a live-in basis.
* Covering for the Housing Manager when required.
The ideal candidate for the Staff Housing Assistant position should:
* Hold a Full, Clean Driving Licence.
* Have admin & people management skills.
* Have the ability to handle busy situations and manage workload effectively.
* Have a friendly & outgoing personality.
* Be enthusiastic & flexible (need to work 5 days over a 7-day period, inclusive of some weekends).
* Be legally eligible to work in Ireland.
