Job Title: QHSE Advisor
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QHSE Advisor to join one of the UK & Ireland's leading logistics providers.
About the Role:
As a QHSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards across the Group. You will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance and promote a culture of continual improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the QSHE Manager in reviewing and creating documentation related to quality, health, safety, and the environment, such as policies, operating and safety procedures, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and environmental aspects and impacts.
* Conduct QSHE audits, prepare detailed reports, and recommend improvements to enhance compliance.
* Organise and deliver QSHE Inductions.
* Identify and evaluate potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
* Assist with the provision of QSHE, security, and product safety awareness programmes through various campaigns.
* Address QSHE enquiries from internal and external sources.
* Investigate incidents, accidents, safety concerns, and near misses to establish root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions.
* Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of continual improvement and operational excellence.
* Undertake random spot checks across the Group.
* Travel to group locations and customer sites in GB & Ireland as needed.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar QHSE role.
* Experience working to/with ISO standards (ISO 45001).
* Working knowledge of current Health and Safety standards & legislation.
* Desirable Skills: NEBOSH Certificate, Environmental Health degree or equivalent. ISO internal auditor qualification. Knowledge of BRC Global Standards or Food Safety Standards.
