Job Description
MKO is seeking a People & Culture (P&C) Specialist to join our growing People & Culture team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain broad exposure across all facets of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, employee wellbeing, and employee engagement.
Working closely with the Head of People & Culture, this role will be key in supporting our people initiatives and fostering a positive employee experience as we continue to scale and evolve as a dynamic and ambitious organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as a first point of contact for employee queries on P&C policies, procedures, and practices.
* Provide guidance and support to people managers on a range of P&C matters, ensuring consistent and effective people management.
* Partner with hiring managers to support recruitment, ensuring a seamless and engaging candidate experience.
* Coordinate and enhance onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring positive transitions and continuous improvement.
* Support the delivery of learning content for our newly introduced Learning Management System (Learn Upon) and play a key role in embedding the system across the company.
* Manage the administration and communication of company benefits and total reward initiatives.
* Support the delivery and coordination of the MKO 'Stay Well' programme, contributing to employee wellbeing and workplace wellness initiatives.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records using the HRIS (Personio) and ensure data integrity.
* Monitor employment legislation to ensure policies remain compliant and up to date.
* Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities to streamline P&C processes and enhance the employee experience.
* Lead and/or support P&C-related projects, contributing to a progressive and inclusive P&C function.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
1. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar HR or P&C role, ideally within a fast-paced or professional services environment.
2. Degree-qualified in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
3. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
4. Excellent organisational and time management capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.
5. A proactive team player with the ability to work independently and flexibly across multiple priorities.
6. Demonstrates discretion, integrity, and professionalism when dealing with confidential information.
* Confident IT user, with experience in managing a Learning Management System (LMS) considered a distinct advantage.
