Barden are working with a multinational organisation to recruit an Indirect Tax Projects Analyst to join their global Indirect Tax Team, here in Cork.
This position provides key support to the Senior Manager of Global Indirect Tax on a number of critical global projects. The role involves overseeing and coordinating assigned projects within the Global Indirect Tax team while also assisting in the execution and monitoring of smaller initiatives from start to finish.

Responsibilities include:
1. Manage and support the successful delivery of assigned projects within established deadlines.
2. Oversee project activities, including coordination, testing, and tracking deliverables.
3. Assist Regional Indirect Tax Teams with project-related tasks and provide operational support when needed.
4. Work collaboratively across global teams to ensure projects align with business operations and tax considerations.
5. Take responsibility for assigned initiatives, ensuring high-quality execution and accountability.
6. Communicate effectively with regional teams and key stakeholders to maintain alignment and progress.
About the person:
The ideal fit will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, finance, or a related business field, along with 1-3 years of experience in a project support role. A background in indirect tax or project management is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. The role calls for a proactive individual with a collaborative approach, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, while familiarity with SAP or the Vertex tax engine is a plus.
