Operations Manager
We are a young, dynamic organization and a subsidiary of GLS Logistics systems BV.
We deliver parcels to over 300,000 customers across Europe, supported by our cutting-edge equipment, extensive network, and talented team members.
This is a fully onsite role based out of our Dublin office, requiring flexibility as the position oversees operations across our depot and hub.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and organize delivery tours to meet quality standards and delivery costs.
* Measure and monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring they meet quality and cost targets.
* Coordinate customer pickups, receipts, and deliveries, communicating with customers, sales, and headquarters in Dublin.
* Operational control of subcontractors (line haul and delivery), ensuring health, safety, and security requirements are met at all times.
* Maintain effective customer and employee relations, working with Gepard (Internal system) to manage parcels, clients, and assigned accounts.
* Organize depot reports daily and monthly, addressing company issues promptly.
* Manage staff planning, including holiday planning and timesheets, to ensure smooth warehouse and transport operations.
* Liaise with the quality department to identify and rectify quality issues with subcontractors.
