Technical Business Development Manager - County Clare.
Our client seeks a hands-on Business Development Manager that not only targets potential projects, but secures the business as well as taking an active role in managing the projects on-going.
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for development of new business and managing relationships with key accounts.
Core Responsibilities:
• Achieve agreed sales targets and personal objectives as set by the Managing Director
• Identify and target potential clients, proactively network and build relationships
• Complete regular market, competitor and sector analysis
• Hold regular communication meetings with project team members throughout process
• Proactively work on project pipeline
• Complete and submit regular sales reports to Managing Director
• Ensure that all information contained within bids is accurate and that commercial solutions detailed can be delivered at agreed margin
• Follow business process for new contract set-ups
• Ensure handover to Operations is seamless
• Travel to Trade Shows
• Presentations to new and existing customers
Skills & Experience required for this role:
• Expert knowledge of the sub-contract engineering industry, specifically precision CNC machining.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop compelling, commercially viable proposals for all service offerings
• Excellent PC and organisational skills. Ability to produce/interpret/analyse reports, prepare presentations and tender documents
• Ability to project manage with experience in various aspects of manufacturing industry including Sales, Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, Production Management, Project Management, Site Management, Resource Planning and Scheduling
• Proven ability to work to targets & KPI's
•Strong solutions sales experience
