About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cook to join our team in Garvagh, Co Derry/Londonderry.
This is a Full-Time Permanent Position available at 42.5 hours per week, working within Monday to Sunday 5am - 8pm with some flexibility required.
Job Responsibilities
As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for:
* Assisting the chef in the safe and hygienic preparation and production of high-quality meals sold in store
* Maintaining great hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a catering environment
* Previous experience of all types of food preparation
* Knowledge of Food Safety practices and procedures (minimum Level 2 qualification in Food Safety)
* Commercial Awareness and ability to deliver on Key Performance Indicators such as sales, costs, and profitability
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
