Role Purpose:
Manage the region's Foodservice Sales team to deliver annual sales and profit targets and grow the Food service business across all channels (Collect, Delivered & Digital) delivering our brand essence of Business Made Easy.
Role Scope:
Increase foodservice market share within the Foodservice business/customers within the Region to include collect, delivered & digital channels.
Role Specification - Key Activities
1. Achievement of budget targets & stretch targets as outlined by the Head of Foodservice Sales.
2. Profitably grow the business in the area by ensuring a clear focus on sales & profit development including new business development through effective prospecting & drive loyalty through management of existing accounts, margin & contract management, new product launches etc.
3. Effective Management & motivation of the area Foodservice sales team.
4. Define, implement & manage the sales processes to include CRM, journey plans, account information/data, customer contact information databases, in-call reports etc., carry out field accompaniments & follow up actions as appropriate.
5. Achieve lowest cost through ensuring effective customer service, minimizing splits and small drops.
6. Ensure the successful management of debt & margin for the Area in line with budget targets & company policy.
7. Ensure that external relationships with customers & suppliers (as appropriate) are managed in line with customer service best practice.
8. Organisation & management of monthly Foodservice Area sales team meetings & attendance at each monthly Regional Sales & Ops Meeting.
9. Be an active & effective member of the Regional Teams across Wholesale to successfully deliver the Foodservice business development strategy for each region.
10. Build & maintain strong relationships & communication links with the Regional Sales & Operations teams.
11. Work with the Head of Foodservice Sales & peers to develop Foodservice business plans & initiatives delivered through best in class field sales execution.
12. Work closely with Customer Service, Branch Management & Operations, Supply Chain, Transport, Trading & Marketing Teams to optimise our offer in the area and drive customer advocacy.

Qualifications and Experience:
1. 5 - 8 years knowledge / experience in Foodservice/FMCG sector
2. Excellent Communication & Relationship Management Skills
3. Commercial acumen & strategic business planning

5. Achievement and results oriented
6. Strong people & performance management skills
7. Third level qualification specialising in Sales/Marketing/Food/Business
8. Full clean driving licence
