My client, one of Irelands leading Civil & Marine Engineering contractors are now searching for a Company Health & Safety Manager to work across large scale civils projects in the Munster Region. This role will be based out of head office in Cork. Role: Ensuring effective implementation of company H&S policies and procedures in the company offices & on projects Carrying out regular health and safety inspections Providing support and advice to staff, site supervisors and site operatives Inspecting documents and records relating to safety Reviewing risk assessments and method statements Communicating safety issues with the project team and other stakeholders Conducting onsite training, briefings and toolbox talks Liaising with client teams for all safety matters Managing our internal management system Preparing the company for various accreditation audits Requirements: Must hold a third level health & safety qualification Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in H&S supervision in the construction industry Preferably will have 3+ years in the civil engineering sector Must have H&S experience in Ireland or UK (Mandatory) Experience on construction projects (Mandatory) Must have good oral and written communication capabilities Must have a full driving licence Salary: Salary €90k - €100k DOE Excellent Benefits If you are a Health & Safety Managerconsidering a career move, please feel free to send yourCV or contact Lisa Cullen on for a confidential discussion.GPC will not send any applicants CVs to clients without a full discussion and prior consent.
