Hiring an experienced Medical Receptionist for a busy front desk in Dublin 1. This is a long-term temporary contract with a view to permanency and requires an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
1. In person and over the phone, greet and assist patients.
2. Assist doctors, employees, visitors, and patients in a professional manner.
3. Check supplies, schedule equipment, and perform maintenance repairs as part of maintaining the business' inventory.
4. Professionally and courteously answer all phone calls.
5. Maintain the privacy of all information about the doctor, the personnel, and the patients.
6. Schedule appointments for doctors and patients.
7. Communicate with medical departments with prudence and professionalism.
8. Follow the policies and procedures during all activities.
9. Assist with admissions and treatment according to established protocols.
10. Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
Requirements:
1. 2 years of experience as a medical receptionist in a healthcare facility.
2. Innovative thinker with good problem-solving and conceptual abilities.
3. Multi-tasking abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
4. Strong administrative, organisational, and planning abilities.
5. Ability to operate under pressure and respond quickly in an emergency.
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
