Responsibilities:
1. End-to-end responsibility for the complete product life cycle, including product sourcing, supplier negotiation and management, and forecasting.
2. Drive sales and optimise margins within assigned product categories.
3. Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
4. Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimising excess inventory and associated holding costs.
5. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives tailored to product categories.
6. Provide valuable insights to marketing teams on consumer preferences and market trends.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, marketing, finance or a related field.
* Experience in negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships and analysing market trends.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Able to work to tight deadlines and think strategically.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
