Role/Department: The HR Advisor role provides HR guidance to mid-level managers and team leaders for relevant internal client groups. This role helps clients to interpret and effectively apply corporate human resources programs. This role builds and maintains relationships with managers and delivers Human Resource solutions that effectively address business issues and needs. With support from dedicated Employee Relations Consultants, this role ensures compliance with all employment and labour laws. This role focuses on day-to-day risk mitigation, providing guidance on the application of HR policies and programs. Other key elements of this role will involve supporting relevant managers/team leaders with absence management issues, manager coaching on employee relations matters (probations, performance, etc.) and liaising with HR Business Partners to implement corporate initiatives and functional people priorities.
