Role Title: Finance Business Partner Lead Role Location: Abbey Street Company: VhiGroup DAC A fulltime vacancy has arisen for the role of a Finance Business Partner Lead within Vhi Health & Wellbeing (H&W) based in Dublin.
This position will support the Head of Commercial Finance H&W in ensuring that a commercial agenda prospers within the organisation and support leading the business partnering team to success.
The role will be broad reaching and will involve significant interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
It is envisaged that this role will evolve overtime.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious self-starter to enter an organisation at the early phases and build it from the ground up Benefits: Hybrid working opportunities Health Insurance Performance related pay Company pension And many more Role Purpose Lead and develop an excellent business partnering model across the H&W business ensuring a commercial agenda thrives within the organisation through appropriate support and challenge Lead the development of the annual plan, working closely with stakeholders to fully understand the business and provide accurate and meaningful assumptions and business KPIs Lead at the decision making table and taking ownership for business and financial performance; Oversee the delivery of commercial insights within business units, educating and building financial acumen; Promote proactive cost containment in the business partnering team through contractual support and identification of synergies and efficiencies.
Work and engage with the cost management team to set and achieve any targets determined at an organisational level.
Manage the development of financial models to enable accurate evaluation of business cases and other strategic initiatives ensuring payback periods, NPV, IRR etc.

Engage with Group to ensure that methodologies are consistent.
Drive value-add through data analysis and insights that improve understandings of the implications of certain decisions and provide challenge as appropriate; Deliver accurate and robust presentations of financial information or ad-hoc analyses up to and including executive from the team; Working closely with the FP&A team to provide forecasts across the Group Monitor the performance of individual business units by examining, creating and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variances Always seek to improve quality of management information underpinned by robust and reliable data.
Oversee the team in all ad hoc business and finance projects;.
Lead and coach a best-in-class finance business partner team, with a value add mindset Education & Experience A third-level accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Minimum six years PQE with relevant experience in Healthcare Demonstatred values of Vhi Skills and Abilities Technical: Commercially focused, with a great track record of identifying opportunities and successfulling implementing process improvements or other strategic projects; Strong financial acumen including knowledge of accounting principals and financial modelling.
Advanced Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Tableau and other financial and data visualisation software; A strong emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy; Deep understanding of the business drivers of a commercial organisation, healthcare being a distinct advantage.
Interpersonal: Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to earn trust and respect and engage team members as well as internal and external stakeholders Excellent communication skills & interpersonal skills; demonstrates moral courage and leads by example A desire to embed themselves in to Service Lines and shape both short term and long term strategies; Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, that is in growth mode, with a high degree of ambiguity and constant change; Strong emotional intelligence, with an empathetic mindset and humility to create space for learning and development.
