Job Description
An Engineering Team Lead is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Co Cork based MN med device client. This role will report into the site Engineering Manager.
Role of this position
1. Supervise and lead a Team of Engineers and Technicians as required.
2. Develop key Manufacturing Engineering Procedures and Processes
3. Develop the Technical Expertise of the Team.
4. Drive Operational Excellence through Engineering Activities within the Team.
5. Develop, drive and support Projects as required.
6. Provide Design for Manufacture (DFM) input on New Product Developments as required.
7. Liaise with Equipment Suppliers and perform Machine Acceptance Tests.
8. Produce and manage Training Plan for the Team.
9. Produce capacity plans for products through manufacturing process
JOB REQUIREMENTS
10. NFQ Level 8 in Engineering or lower degree with suitable experience
11. 5+ years' experience in a similar Engineering Role in a Production Environment.
12. Excellent equipment knowledge
13. A compliance mindset and a high level of attention to detail
14. People management and development skills
