The Role
Legend is hiring a Mergers & Acquisition Manager, reporting directly to our Head of M&A & Corporate Development. The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal M&A Lead & the Head of M&A to identify and close global M&A opportunities across Gaming, Sport, Money and Paid Media. Responsible for sourcing targets, making approaches, and managing the deal through to completion.

Your Impact:
* Drive the identification of potential M&A targets across our pillars, aligning with our global M&A strategy to fuel company growth and expansion.
* Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the attractiveness of potential targets, presenting compelling acquisition rationales to senior stakeholders supported by robust financial modeling.
* Lead the execution of M&A transactions by coordinating internal cross-functional teams and external advisors, ensuring seamless collaboration throughout the process.
* Take charge of preparing and presenting transaction proposals to the Board and our Founder, showcasing meticulous attention to detail and strategic alignment.
* Spearhead continuous improvement efforts in M&A processes, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness for enhanced deal outcomes.
* Demonstrate adept project management skills, overseeing multiple deals simultaneously and engaging with various internal and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
What You’ll Bring:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) is essential.
* 3+ year’s experience in corporate finance and M&A at a leading accounting firm or an investment bank or boutique is essential.
* Highly analytical and strategic in nature and strong financial analysis skills.
* Have the ability and passion to ‘sell’ our company, to founders and senior stakeholders.
* Good relationship builder - able to build fast bonds with potential acquisition target founders.
* Hungry and urgent to find the next deal and to move rapidly during deal process.
The Interview Process:
* 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 minute video interview via Zoom)
* 2nd: Interview with the hiring manager, Head of M&A & Corporate Development (1 hour video interview via Zoom)
* 3rd: Task presentation to our Director, Head of Strategy and Principal M&A Lead (1 hour video interview via Zoom)
