Job Description:
Sales & Marketing Support Trainee (WPEP Placement) will learn to support Sales and Marketing operations across the business. This includes assisting with lead generation, digital campaigns, CRM management, and business communications. The participant will develop administrative, communication, and coordination skills while working closely with cross-functional teams.
The participant will be trained in the following:
1. Assisting with the preparation of sales quotes, proposals, and supporting documentation
2. Maintaining and updating customer information using a CRM system
3. Supporting lead generation activities including outreach emails and follow-ups
4. Planning and executing email campaigns, social media posts, and digital marketing efforts
5. Coordinating sales appointments, meetings, and follow-up actions
6. Compiling and supporting internal sales and marketing performance reports
7. Assisting in preparing materials for client presentations and company events
8. Liaising with internal departments to support cross-functional activities
Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP.
