About Your New Employer:
This Dublin-based architectural design studio is characterized by its dedicated, personable, and collaborative team of designers who deliver a bespoke, sustainable, and tailor-made service to each client in the realms of architecture, interiors, and urban design. At the heart of all the work is an emphasis on advancing sustainable design processes.
They have implemented BIM across their office as the preferred system for information production and dissemination. As a result, they are now seeking a forward-thinking BIM Manager to join the team and manage over 55 design and technical professionals.
About Your New Job:
In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of BIM processes across the practice, working closely with our talented team to streamline workflows, enhance project efficiency, and meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Key responsibilities:
1. Implementing BIM Level 2 procedures in accordance with PAS 1192-2:2013, PAS 1192-3:2014, BIM Protocols, Construction Operations Building Information Exchange (COBie) standards, including Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR), BIM Execution Plan (BEP) Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) and provide training to all staff in the use of BIM processes and in REVIT training.
2. Create Revit user manuals standards and provide quality control to ensure BIM standards are maintained in the development of Architectural Revit Models whilst supporting in troubleshooting problems.
3. Liaising with subcontractors and the design team and reporting to managers to develop a BIM Strategy.
4. Managing the implementation of supporting software of BIM: Develop a “best practice” for Revit users and other related BIM Software, constantly maintaining and improving Revit template and Families and delivering CPD in BIM documentation, workflow process and Revit standards.
What Skills You Need:
1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management is necessary.
2. An industry recognized BIM Certification is advantageous.
3. At least 3-5 years of experience working in a BIM-related role, with involvement in large-scale architectural projects. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (architecture, engineering, and construction) is essential.
4. Strong leadership and project management skills.
