As a Senior Manager, Global Procurement you will be accountable for supporting the definition and implementation of the global Clinical Core (IRT, eCOA) and Digital Health Technology Category strategy. We work closely with team members managing discussions and aligning category priorities with Procurement management and collaborators.
A typical day may include:
Managing negotiations, supplier management activities, and collaborator engagement activities.
Collaborating driving value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.
Representing Global Procurement by participating in organizational decisions in the Clinical Core (IRT, eCOA) and Digital Health Technology categories with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results.
Demonstrates knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and leverages this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities.
Manages category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations, as applicable.
Negotiates contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law department aligned with Regeneron’s priorities and business requirements.
May, either directly or through a matrix structure, manage team of professional level employees responsible for performing category management tasks (if applicable.)
May provide coaching and guidance on job performance and career development (if applicable) and provides leadership examples for the organization.
Uses data to drive decision-making for successful category projects.

To be considered you are required to have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study along with progressive experience in procurement within the Pharma/BioPharma industry. Experience successfully managing category processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories Including Clinical Core (IRT, eCOA) and Digital Health Technology or related categories. Knowledge regarding rates, unit costs, and costing structures is required. Have experience with external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement. Experience managing associate level professionals preferred Working knowledge with sourcing contracting tools, ERP’s, and eRFx systems preferred. (Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, Other)Ability to use standard business applications for communicating, presenting and analyzing (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
