About the Role
This role involves:
* Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations
* Monitoring and interpreting contract design documents
* Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and site workers
* Setting out using instruments such as Total Station and GPS
* Supervising subcontractor work and reporting progress to Package Managers
* Providing technical guidance and resolving unexpected issues
* Ensuring quality management and BCAR coordination
* Adhering to planning, health, and safety, and environmental standards
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Significant experience as a Site Engineer with a Developer or Main Contractor
* Strong setting out experience using equipment like Total Station and GPS
* A clean manual driver's license
* The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
