Job Summary:
A Quantity Surveyor is required to manage the surveying function of allocated projects for our client. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing deadlines.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
* Review and Approve Contract Documents: Responsible for reviewing and approving contract documents and providing support to the financial controller and directors in relation to the contract.
* Cost Reporting: Preparation of cost reports to the Client with contractually compliant supporting documentation if required.
* Subcontract and Material Procurement: Preparation and management of subcontract and material procurement schedules.
* Subcontractor/Supplier Accounts: Administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts, monitoring and authorization of subcontract payments through to agreement of final accounts.
* Cash Flow Management: Managing and forecasting the cash flow of the project.
* Contract Schedule Compliance: Ensure compliance with the contract schedule.
* Client Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with the client to support the activities and maintain positive relations on behalf of the company.
* Commercial Control: Be proactive in the commercial control of the project; keep the commercial performance of the projects under review from start to finish.
* Value Solutions: Ensure all projects are driven to provide the best value solutions and delivered on time and within budgets.
Requirements:

* Ability to take a professional, organized, and positive approach to problem-solving

* Professional qualification required
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role required
