Sales Operations Specialist - 12 month contract

As Kneat continues to expand, we are looking for an enthusiastic sales operations specialist to join our Sales and Marketing department.
Position Summary
The Sales Operations Specialist will support our sales operations team in optimizing sales processes and managing subscription renewals. This role focuses on streamlining sales workflows, managing sales tools, and preparing renewal quotations for existing customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and proficient in using sales systems to ensure efficiency in renewals and overall sales operations. This is a 12 month contract to cover a maternity leave.
Primary Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, the Sales Operations Specialist will support and provide administrative assistance to the Sales department activities as follows:
* Work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, and Sales) to streamline quote-to-cash processes.
* Ensure compliance with sales policies and guidelines for approvals and escalations.
* Order processing and coordination of order workflow through to invoicing with finance and fulfillment by consulting teams.
* Provide training and guidance to the sales team on best practices in sales processes and tools.
* Proposal generation and issuing to sales team.
* Assist in managing approvals for discounting, pricing, and deal structuring.
* Prepare and generate renewal quotations for customers based on existing contracts and pricing structures.
* Ensure accuracy in renewal pricing, terms, and applicable discounts, following company policies.
* Collaborate with account managers and finance teams to ensure timely renewal processing.
* Track renewal timelines and work with internal teams to ensure seamless subscription continuity.
Minimum Qualifications
* Proficient using CRM (HubSpot preferred) and ERP (NetSuite Preferred) and Microsoft Office packages MS Excel, Word.
* Strong understanding of quote-to-cash processes, pricing models, and subscription management.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and deal with several issues at once.
Nice to Haves
* Experience with subscription based business models (SaaS, IT Services etc.).
* Previous experience in a Sales or Technical Administrative role would be advantageous.
* CRM and ERP system experience is desirable.
