Douglas Control & Automation are seeking an IT/OT Analyst to provide support on our customers site in Cork. This is a hybrid position, only 2 days per week on-site are required. Role Overview: The IT/OT (Information Technology/Operational Technology) Analyst role is responsible for planning, managing and supporting IT/OT programs delivering new capability across their manufacturing plants. What youll do Govern and manage the technical delivery of IT projects/technologies in Operational Technology (OT) area for their plants. Work with broader cross-functional teams (Automation / Engineering / Operations / Maintenance) to ensure flawless execution of strategic roadmaps with a focus on delivering business case benefits. Develop strong partnerships across functions to drive measurable operational results. Partner with their Automation & Engineering on capital projects/programs to determine the impact on local plants for project and sustain. Partner with OT/Automation teams to define processes to manage programs into sustain, in compliance with IT/OT standards. Collaborate with OT/Automation and IT Security teams to ensure all aspects of security of manufacturing systems are implemented and maintained. Collaborate with the OT/Automation teams to ensure alignment on AVEVA System Platform application configuration approach and alignment with their standards. Work with third party vendors as appropriate to resolve any issues in IT/OT applications. Ensure technical compliance with appropriate IT/OT standards for technical infrastructure and IT/OT Manufacturing applications. Experience needed (Either/or, not all is required) Strong technical expertise relating to IT infrastructure and networking in manufacturing environments. Experience with shop floor manufacturing systems. Working knowledge/understanding of shop floor technologies (e.g. PLCs, SCADA, HMI, AVEVA technologies, Rockwell technologies). Experience supporting AVEVA System Platform deployments. Working knowledge of database technologies (e.g., MS SQL). Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively at all levels within the company. Excellent project management skills with proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments. Extensive stakeholder engagement and management skills. Minimum of 8 years experience in IT in infrastructure & project delivery. Ability to work in/with virtual teams that can be located anywhere in the world. Vendor management skills. AVEVA System Platform, InTouch, InBatch, Historian, ThinManager.
