Our client is an established construction company building medium and large-scale projects throughout Ireland.
Young, dynamic, innovative, award-winning, and sustainable Contractor, they have built key public & private projects nationally, including primary & secondary schools, third level campus buildings, pharmaceutical, low & high density residential, hotels, manufacturing facilities, life sciences, commercial, utilities, high-tech, healthcare, and primary care centres.
They have a requirement for a Site-based Quality Manager for current & upcoming projects in Limerick.
Responsibilities:
1. Help develop a culture of 'Right 1st Time' approach within the project.
2. Manage non-conformances (NCRs) – providing Quality NCRs with root cause analysis and following up on issues that arise.
3. Inspect any rework of non-conformances and sign off.
4. Ensure works are carried out as per Mock Ups and First Of Kinds.
5. Liaise with site and installation teams to review the effectiveness of quality processes.
6. Ensure full adherence to the company Project Quality Plan.
7. Maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITP's).
8. Develop, oversee, and implement Inspection & Test reports (ITR's).
9. Ensure compliance using the Procore Platform for all Quality documentation.
10. Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
11. Provide quality reports for incorporation into project reports.
12. Ensure the quality records, acceptance certificates, completion certificates, and documentation are in accordance with project requirements.
13. Conduct BCAR – daily inspections, inspection closures, and meetings with the Assigned Certifier.
14. Compile and track handover documentation prior to PC, including O&M certificates from sub-contractors along with as-built drawings, product/material details, and operating/maintenance manuals.
15. Compile required product certification from contractors.
16. Attend site meetings.
17. Track open compliance issues on projects to ensure satisfactory closure.
18. Ensure safety is adhered to on site.
Requirements:
1. 3+ years of experience within the construction industry.
2. Previous QA / QC / BCAR experience preferred.
Salary: €55K – €75K depending on experience, with transport, pension, insurance, and annual bonus included.
