The Role The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating logistical operations within the Tallaght site.
This role ensures the efficient and timely transportation, storage, and distribution of goods while maintaining cost-effective and quality-focused operations.
The supervisor also leads a team to achieve departmental objectives and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

To ensure that the company operates in line with all legal requirements including Health & Safety and Data Protection requirements at all times.
To ensure that the company's vision, values and policies and procedures are adhered to at all times Operational Management: Plan, manage, and evaluate logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory management, and transportation.
Monitor inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and customers.
Team Supervision: Supervise and provide guidance to logistics staff, including dispatch, drivers, and coordinators.
Train team members on policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Inventory and Warehouse Management: Oversee inventory control and stock management processes.
Ensure proper storage and organization of goods to optimize space and minimize losses.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics efficiency and cost.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
Regulatory Compliance: You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Elis Health and Safety Policy, national legislative requirements and the safety and wellbeing of your team.
Ensure adherence to local and international laws, regulations, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections.
Manage relationships with stakeholders to meet service expectations.
