Overview
The Market Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of market data to support business decisions. This position coordinates market intelligence projects from initiation through completion, to ensure business objectives and due dates are met.
Responsibilities
1. Performs analysis on industry, markets, products and competitors.
2. Presents market intelligence data in a way that tells a compelling story, provides actionable insights, and drives business decisions.
3. Analyse and synthesise data into meaningful and insightful reports/visualization/communications to inform business decisions.
4. Lead and manage projects including project scoping, process mapping, liaising with stakeholders, making sure milestones are met, and rollout plans.
5. Prepares/executives project plans to align with business goals, including sources, methodologies, timelines and cost estimates.
6. Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness when identifying and defining requirements. Organise and participate in requirements meetings.
7. Sets project and task deadlines, monitors progress and prepares project status reports for management.
8. Shares, organizes and archives projects and data.
9. Coordinates projects with external partners.
10. Ensure that Cook's Code of Conduct is considered in all business matters carried out on Cook's behalf.
Qualifications
1. Third level qualification in a related field desired.
2. A minimum of 2 years experience in the field of market research and data analysis required.
3. Proven ability to analyze market data from different sources and present findings, analysis, and recommendations.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry preferred.
6. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
7. Experience with MS Power BI or other visualization platforms preferred.
8. A proven track record of effectively communicating data and insights.
9. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
10. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills with the ability to maintain objectivity at all times.
11. Highly organized, detail-oriented, managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
12. Availability and willingness to travel on company business as required.
