Senior HR Business Partner Our client, a well-established large-scale services organisation, has partnered exclusively with Re:work on a fully managed recruitment campaign to hire a Senior HR Business Partner — a high-impact individual contributor role reporting directly to the Chief People Officer.
Role Summary: This role combines strategic people project delivery with hands-on HR business partnering.
You'll play a key role in delivering change, driving performance, and supporting business leaders through complex and sensitive people matters.
About the Company & HR Dept The company employs several hundred people across Ireland and has a strong reputation for service and innovation.
The People team is lean and highly respected across the business.
You'll work directly with the Chief People Officer and collaborate closely with a small HR team that includes fellow HR Business Partners and Centre of Excellence (CoE) specialists.
What You'll Be Doing Project Delivery (Approx.
50%) Leading large-scale people change initiatives, including workforce transitions, insourcing/outsourcing, and restructuring.
Running people impact assessments and managing risk and communication plans.
Leading consultations and overseeing all people-related project deliverables.
Managing ER/IR issues, including union engagement and mediation when required.
Business Partnering (Approx.
50%) Acting as the HR lead for allocated business areas.
Owning operational HR delivery (recruitment, employee relations, systems, data, policy).
Providing insights and metrics to support people strategy and business decisions.
Coaching and enabling managers to create better people outcomes.
Supporting the roll-out of wider People & Culture initiatives and improvements.
What We're Looking For 8+ years' experience in HR with hands-on experience with people projects.
Proven experience leading (not just supporting) TUPE, restructures, or workforce transitions.
Someone who's led change and is confident managing union relationships.
Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and ER/IR practice.
Excellent data literacy and confidence using Excel to analyse trends and create reports.
Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
Strong communication skills and the presence to influence at senior level.
Resilient and adaptable – confident taking feedback, owning outcomes, and making decisions.
