About the Role
Our client, a large Housing Association, has retained the services of Hays to recruit a Scheme Coordinator on a temporary contract basis. The successful candidate will work within a sheltered housing scheme in Lurgan for a period of 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide an enhanced housing management service to independent living tenants, ensuring high standards of customer service.
* Engage with tenants to respond to their support needs efficiently and effectively.
* Collaborate with partnering agencies and stakeholders to deliver key services, including GPs, social workers, relatives, and next of kin.
* Manage emergency situations by seeking advice from the Housing Officer as needed.
* Sustain tenancies by carrying out and reviewing risk assessments, reporting building repairs, and overseeing contractors.
Requirements
* A good understanding of great customer experience and working with computer systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including sensitive information.
* The ability to balance several tasks at once, prioritize accurately, and show empathy when working with people.
* Initiative, responsibility, and effective dealing with difficult situations.
* A practical understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment, confidentiality, and providing tailored services.
