MMD Construction are seeking to recruit an experienced and ambitious Project Manager to join their growing team in Cork. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful completion of the project, adhering to budget, timeline, safety and quality standards.

The Role:
The Project Manager will be responsible for the management, coordination and execution of the scope of works for each project, whilst meeting the project objectives set out for EHS, design, technical, quality, programme and commercial.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
* Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects.
* Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed.
* Manage quality control for the lifecycle of the project and ensure all project documentation is managed correctly.
* Ensure material and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule.
* Prepare reports on Project Management Software.
* Modify and update the project programme with senior management to ensure key milestones are met.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Legislation.
* Ensure compliance with BC(A)R.
* Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will hold a Third Level Qualification in a relevant Construction Discipline and have at least 5 years relevant experience in a similar role. They will also possess excellent communication, interpersonal skills and negotiation skills, as well as being tech savvy and having good computer skills.
