The Position
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, we wish to appoint a Trainee to work in the Payroll Outsourcing Services department of Mazars. Mazars has a dedicated outsourced payroll bureau that provides payroll service solutions to its clients ranging from multinational companies to owner managed businesses and to public sector bodies. A full training programme will be provided to the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities
1. Scheduling work to strict deadlines
2. Daily receipt and processing of payroll information
3. Issuing payslips
4. Dealing with client queries
5. Management of time incurred on payroll processing
6. Processing payroll information on Europay Payroll System
7. Filing of Revenue returns on line ROS
8. Liaising with clients
9. Liaising with Revenue Commissioners
10. General administration duties
Ideal Candidate
11. Knowledge of computerised payroll systems
12. Proficient in Microsoft Excel
13. Ability to work effectively to deadlines
14. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
15. Ability to work on own initiative
16. Meticulous attention to detail
17. Effective organisational skills
18. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
19. Experience of Europay payroll package an advantage
20. Previous payroll experience an advantage
21. Successful candidate must be IPASS qualified or prepared to complete IPASS course as part of their training contract
