We are currently seeking a highly-motivated See Hear Play Educational Facilitator to join our team.
Contract Hours: This role will be for 7 hours (1 Day) per week for the duration of the project.
Contract Type: 9 months Fixed Term Contract
Salary: The current salary scale for this post is €51,589 to €63,501 pro rata per annum.
Annual leave: Annual leave entitlement is 33 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service.
Overall Purpose of the Post: The role of the See Hear Play Project Lead is to oversee the Creation, Implementation and Evaluation phases of Enable Ireland's National Assistive Technology Training Service See Hear Play Project.
This Educational Facilitator will act as liaison between Enable Ireland's National AT Training Service, third-party technology consultants and participating schools.
The post holder will record and document the project in an objective manner with the aim of informing future projects where technology is used to facilitate creativity and expression of children with disabilities in schools.
Duties and Responsibilities Duties listed below under each project phase.
Creation • Consult on the selection of project equipment
• User testing of all project hardware and software
• Assist in the development of support documentation and media.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with Primary School Curriculum Arts Education Music strands.
• Develop teacher training materials (including video resources)
Implementation • Act as first point of contact for all participating schools.
• Provide in person training and support to all participating schools
• Demonstrate potential of technologies to offer inclusive creative expression to students
• Provide ongoing remote support and training for participating schools via Microsoft Teams for the duration of the project
• Facilitate the online professional learning community of participating teachers
• Act as liaison where technical support is required
Evaluation • Gather feedback from participating teachers and students where appropriate.
• Work with Enable Ireland AT Training Service to develop training materials based on learning from project.
